Letter from Our President
Hello and welcome to the Zeta Omicron chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at Kettering University. We thank you for taking the time to explore our website and find out what life as an Alpha Gam is all about! Our chapter has been in the Flint community for over 30 years, we love this community and we take pride in our roots that have been planted here. Within the chapter, our members are busy with participating in philanthropy, holding various leadership positions around campus, bonding at sisterhood events, attending mixers with other groups on campus and much, much more. Becoming an Alpha Gam opens up so many doors and your opportunities to participate are endless!
Being a member of Alpha Gamma Delta entails so much more than just being a member of a sorority. Our chapter, in the Fall of 2019, achieved an overall GPA of 3.36, making us one of the highest ranking GPA organizations overall in the Greek Community on campus. Alpha Gamma Delta promotes academic excellence, philanthropic giving, leadership, personal development and of course, the endless joys of sisterhood. As said in our purpose, we strive to “covet beauty in environment, manner, word and thought.” We find the silver lining in everything we do and optimistically work towards our goals. By working together as sisters, we bring out the best in each other, the best in ourselves and the best in our community. Every day we make sure to work closer towards our vision to inspire women and impact the world.
I am honored to serve as the 2020 Chapter President of Alpha Gamma Delta. Becoming a member has left me with countless of unforgettable memories and sisters that’ll be by my side for a lifetime. The experiences I’ve gained are ones that I will never forget. I truly cannot wait to continue to raise the bar with my sisters to make Zeta Omicron the best it can be.
